Richmondville — Helen E. Frasier, 99, of Cross Hill Road, died Monday, June 17, 2013 at her residence f o l l o w i n g a brief illness. Born December 21, 1913 in Antwerp, NY, s h e w a s a d a u g h t e r o f William Pitt and Flora Elizabeth (McFee) Adderley. Helen graduated from Cortland College and then began her teaching career. For 32 years she taught 5th grade, retiring from the former Richmondville Central School.

Tampa, FL — Frank DeFrank, 87, formerly of Schenectady, N Y, p a s s e d away peacefully on June 12, 2013 with his family by his side in Tampa, FL. F r a n k w a s born March 1, 1926 in Schenectady, NY, to the late Jerry and Lucy DeFrank. He was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School and then served in the U.S. Navy in WWII as a radar operator aboard the USS Shelby. He received a bachelor's degree from Siena College, and a master's degree in education from Oneonta College. Mr. DeFrank was an elementary school principal for the Troy school district until his retirement in 1985, and was a member of the New York State Teachers Association.

Rotterdam — Michael J. Fox, 38, of Rotterdam passed away Sunday, June 16th, 2013 at his home. Born in Schen e c t a d y, M i - chael was the son of the late Pamela Guthrie. A graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School, Michael obtained his associates degree from Hudson Valley Community College. He worked as a supervisor for Adirondack Beverage for 12 years. Michael was an avid golfer.
